We really do give a Sock!
Each time a pair of socks is sold on Sierrasocks.com, a pair is donated to the homeless.
It began with our Sockathon in 2008 and we brought the program back due to the overwhelming need for socks by the homeless. Through our donation partners, these much-needed items get into the hands of those suffering from homelessness and mental illness.
We are grateful for your participation in this effort. Without you, this program would not be possible.
We obtained valuable feedback from outreach programs and used this information in the design of these socks. We used the same high-quality combed cotton you will find in many of our other socks on our website. We then finished off this crew sock with a seamless toe for extra comfort. When choosing the overall color of these socks, we chose a black sock (from feedback received) to show less dirt and sweat on the sock itself.
